2. Use of Our Website

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental or guardian consent, to book services through our website.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information when making an enquiry or booking.
• You must not use our website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the site.

3. Quotes and Pricing

• Quotes provided over the phone or on our website are estimates based on the information you provide and may change once your device has been physically diagnosed.
• Final pricing will be confirmed before any chargeable work begins.
• All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of GST.

4. Diagnostics and Repairs

• We offer a free diagnostic assessment to identify the fault with your device.
• We will contact you with our findings and an agreed cost before carrying out any repair. No chargeable work begins without your approval.
• We reserve the right to decline a repair if a device is beyond economical repair, requires unavailable parts, or poses a safety risk.
• Estimated turnaround times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed, as some repairs depend on parts availability or manufacturer support.

5. Customer Responsibilities

• You are responsible for backing up your data before handing over your device. While we take reasonable care, we are not liable for data loss unless caused by our negligence.
• You must disclose any known issues, passwords or PINs required for access, and warranty status of the device at the time of booking.
• You confirm that you are the owner of the device, or have the owner’s authority to have it repaired.

6. Parts and Warranty

• Where possible, we use quality new, refurbished, or compatible parts as agreed with you.
• Repairs are covered by a 90-day warranty on parts and labour for the specific fault repaired, unless otherwise stated. This warranty does not cover unrelated faults, accidental damage, liquid damage, or issues arising after the device leaves our care.
• Manufacturer warranties may be voided by third-party repair; we will advise you if this applies to your device before proceeding.

7. Collection of Devices

• Devices must be collected within 30 days of being notified that the repair is complete. We reserve the right to charge reasonable storage fees, or treat uncollected devices after 90 days as abandoned, to the extent permitted by law.
• Proof of identity or the original job reference number may be required for collection.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Melbourne PC Repair Pro’s liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the cost of the service provided. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
